NSW: Hospitality workers protest over sackings

Hotel workers will rally outside a major Sydney hotel today to protest against a decision
to sack 20 workers so the hotel can be sold.

The Liquor, Hospitality and Miscellaneous Workers Union says the 20 workers have been
told by Wentworth Hotel management that they're no longer required.

The union's assistant secretary MARK BOYD say it appears a key condition of the sale
of the 431-room hotel by finance company AXA is to stand down 20 workers.
