1. LAKE ONTARIO -- Unsettled weather and heavy winds have made for tough fishing conditions. Poor reports this week. Once we get a few days of decent weather, the action should return.
2. SALMON RIVER -- The river is getting a good flow of water and plenty of steelhead being taken. Also, some nice rainbow being taken on the lower reservoir. Plenty of bass, but they are not in season yet.
3. AUSABLE -- Conditions continue to be almost ideal. March Browns and Caddis are working well and Nymphs have been exceptional. Spinners continue to fall in the evening and it is worth trying right until dark. Look for Green Drakes anytime now.
