NSW: Glass ceiling as strong as ever in corporate Aust
SYDNEY, Jan 11 AAP - The proverbial glass ceiling was as strong as ever in corporate
Australia with only 12 per cent of firms reporting that half of their senior managers were
women, a recent survey has found.

The survey, conducted by human resources firm Morgan & Banks and involving 950 companies,
found that the industries most likely to overlook gender bias was advertising and tourism.

Morgan & Banks director Sean Winder said traditionally there were more women working in the
service areas.
